The Duke University School of Law's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is offering tax preparation assistance by law student volunteers for people who earn less than $30,000 annually.

Last year, VITA volunteers filed returns for more than 200 clients.

While walk-ins are accepted when enough volunteers are available, clients with appointments get priority service. Call ahead at 613-8526 or the number accompanying the location involved if available, to make an appointment.

Please indicate if you will need a translator and which language(s) you speak. Translators will not be available at every site.
